Forms and Scripts

Use any of these forms or scripts as you wish to enhance your Marketing Center

Look at the HTML codes of each form, you will notice that each input field has a name= area. If you want your form to have required fields (the user can't leave it blank) then copy and paste the code shown here, at the top of the form area where you see the "hidden fields" and replace the names in the value= code to match exactly the name of name= field from your form separated by a comma like below, NO spaces between the names.

<input type=hidden name="required" value="email,Phone,FirstName,LastName">

In all the forms that I have designed for you, there is a special hidden code that records the IP address of the sender. This is important to you especially, running an ezine. You always save the subscribe emails in a folder. In the future, if someone files a Spam complaint, you have proof that they subscribed. You even have the Date and IP address they subscribed from! This could save you from losing your ISP (Internet Service Provider) some day! You're Welcome!

    "Java Script" code script makers and
    tools for you to use:

  • High quality CGI scripts

  • Plan of action for this section:

    • Place the all purpose form on your "Contact Us" (contact.html) template that you built in Step 2, Webpage Design.
    • Place the Ezine/Newsletter Subscribe/Unsubscribe form on your "Newsletter or Ezine" (ezine.html or newsletter.html) template.
    • Look at all the forms and scripts to see if you want to use any others. For example: the Java Script pull down menu that I used above is great where space is limited. It is called the Link Maker in the pull down menu. So, browse around and try to get a clear picture in your mind on how you want your Marketing Center to work, feel, and look!
    • If you need a little refreshing on your HTML skills go to "NCSA Beginner's Guide to HTML". Click on the full length version hyperlink.
    • Take a break, you deserve it since Step 4 and 5 were so time consuming!
